Tom Cannavan
Tom Cannavan has published his wine-pages.com online magazine since 1995. Despite rumours that he exists only in cyber space, Tom is also a successful journalist, TV broadcaster and wine judge, writing for titles including World of Fine Wine and Decanter, and contributing to The Wine Report. He has written for The Independent and Sunday Times, and presents a weekly wine slot on Scottish Television. Tom judges at the world's major wine competitions, from Australia to Argentina, and is living proof that even 6'1" Glaswegians like delicate wines. Tom's 20 Questions
Jane Parkinson
Jane Parkinson is a highly experienced wine journalist who collected the Chairman's Award at the 2009 Louis Roederer International Awards for "rising rocket-like" through the world of wine writing. She frequently judges at international wine competitions and for the last two years has been Chair of judges for the Rising Stars Trophy. Jane has worked at Wine International, Wine & Spirit and as Deputy Editor of The Drinks Business. She has recently decided to go freelance and take a trip to Australia to get both her hands and keyboard dirty by picking grapes and blogging. Jane's 20 Questions
Anthony Rose
Anthony Rose is the wine correspondent of The Independent. He also teaches at Leiths School of Food & Wine. As a competition judge, Anthony has tasted his way through Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, California, Japan and France. In the UK, he chairs a panel for the Decanter World Wine Awards, gives wine talks and contributes to the World of Fine Wine, Wine Report and the Oxford Companion to Wine. Joanna Simon
Joanna Simon has swapped a weekly wine column in The Sunday Times for the wine & food editor's chair at House & Garden magazine, giving her greater scope for gluttony - sorry, gourmandising. She is a panel chair for the International Wine Challenge and other leading competitions and is the author of several books including Discovering Wine, Wine An Introduction and Wine With Food. She presented BBC Radio 4's series The Bottle Uncorked and once stooped to presenting vodka on TV. She escapes to France at the drop of a béret. Jo's 20 Questions
David Williams
David Williams combines roles as wine correspondent of The Observer newspaper and deputy editor of The World of Fine Wine magazine. David has been writing about wine for more than 10 years, and began his career as a staff writer on the trade magazine Harpers, before becoming editor of consumer title Wine & Spirit. His freelance work appears in many publications including Harpers Wine & Spirit, Restaurant Magazine, Imbibe, Destination France and Meininger's Wine Business International.
