Tom Cannavan

Tom has published since 1995. Despite rumours that he exists only in cyber space, Tom is also a successful journalist, broadcaster and wine judge, writing for titles including World of Fine Wine and Decanter, and contributing to The Wine Report. He has written for The Independent, Financial Times and Sunday Times, and presents wine slots on Scottish Television and BBC Radio. Jane Parkinson

Jane collected the Chairman's Award at the Louis Roederer International Awards for "rising rocket-like" through the world of wine writing. She is a wine expert on BBC1's Saturday Kitchen, Wine Editor at Large for Restaurant magazine, the wine expert for Stylist magazine and contributes to many other titles. Jane judges at international wine competitions and hosts wine courses for consumers. She has worked for magazines including Wine International, Wine & Spirit and The Drinks Business, and her debut wine book 'Wine and Food' was released in 2014. Jane's 20 Questions

Ant Rose

Anthony Rose is the wine correspondent of The Independent. He also teaches at Leiths School of Food & Wine. As a competition judge, Anthony has tasted his way through Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, California, Japan and France. In the UK, he chairs a panel for the Decanter World Wine Awards, gives wine talks and contributes to the World of Fine Wine, Wine Report and the Oxford Companion to Wine. Jo Simon

Jo has swapped a weekly wine column in The Sunday Times for the wine & food editor's chair at House & Garden magazine, giving her greater scope for gluttony - sorry, gourmandising. She is a panel chair for the International Wine Challenge and other leading competitions and is the author of several books including Discovering Wine, Wine An Introduction and Wine With Food. She presented BBC Radio 4's series The Bottle Uncorked and once stooped to presenting vodka on TV. She escapes to France at the drop of a béret. Jo's 20 Questions

David Williams

David is the wine correspondent of The Observer, the deputy editor of The World of Fine Wine, and a columnist at The Wine Merchant, as well as being a regular contributor to titles including The Guardian, Restaurant Magazine, Imbibe and New Zealand's Wine magazine. David is the author of two books, 500 Wines for 100 Occasions and A Little Course in Wine Tasting, and has worked as an editor on titles including The Wine Opus and the Finest Wines Series published by The World of Fine Wine. He has judged at a number of international wine competitions, and is the co-founder and chairman of the annual competition for wines in the UK's independent wine shops, The Wine Merchant Top 50.
