What is The Wine Gang?
Our idea is simple: every month we taste thousands of wines but with the limited space given to wine in the press, this valuable information never reaches the consumer. Now, we publish our in-depth report each month with our honest assessment of over 200 wines. In the middle of the month we’ll send you a interim report listing some of the latest best buys. We also organise fabulous member tastings, competitions and more for our members.
What Makes The Wine Gang Different?
The short answer is: just about everything. The Wine Gang is 100% independent and does not accept advertising, so there is no potential for a conflict of interest. We are a team, but we are not a bland committee. We calibrate our palates regularly and cross-check our findings. With unprecedented coverage of wines on UK shelves, from everyday bottles to fine wines, our expert, independent assessments give you the in-depth knowledge to buy with confidence.

The Database
Every tasting note we publish is added to our searchable archive of thousands of wines. This can be searched by producer, wine name, country, style, retailer, price, date of tasting or score.
